Sujata Massey Bride's Kimono is on the reading table.
Covered some more of Brando's auto-bio today at library.
After a looong 3-day break to gym, I am weighing more or less the same.

This week is topsy-turvy on the health side. A seasonal change effected a cold and mild fever towards friday. Missed a gym session for the first time in over 2 months. And was on the brink of pulling out from a planned trip ; when impossibility of cancellation of train tickets deemed it impossible.

So saturday... Nakano -> Shinjuku -> Matsumoto -> Shin shimashima -> Kamikochi
A scenic hilly area in the belt of Northern Japan Alps as christened by a christian priest Reverend Walter Weston. We reached Kamikochi bus station around noon, had some bland noodles in the station complex, started off to Kappa-bashi ( bashi = bridge ) on our way to the Alps Hotel. About to start again for Myojin pond; when rain also started off. Determined and equipped with umbrellas and torch lights we set off into the woods. Back in our huts ; we decided to check out the common kitchen for the campers. There we set up a fire and were having a GOOD time when off went the lights @ 9 PM; this we were warned about by a Jap gang who had a fireplace by our side and who lent us the bootable fire ( if you can call that that). Had our dinner in the dark or rather in the light of the fire wood. Good night's deserving sleep. Sunday, we targeted the other places in Kamikochi, some bridges, Weston Relief. Bus to Norikura. Waterfall. Lunch. Another jungle trail for Ichinosen. 5 PM . Start back to Tokyo.

20080901-20080907

Mon - Italian @ Bravo, Hibiya
Tue, Thu, Fri - Office Canteen - Guess this is a record in itself. Thrice in a single week.
A Wednesday is incomplete without Nirvanam.

(Just added "Nirvanam" to the dictionary!)

On the weight front, going great for now...
Broke the 83 barrier to weigh a neat 82.8 today...
But again, lets see if this holds. Also that is the weight post workout on a Sunday morning.
So what you see is sometimes not what you get.

Watched Casino Royale.
Through with 'Forrest Gump' book. Extraordinary stuff.
